About the Property

Ping Nakara is a lovingly crafted homage to the Lanna-colonial architecture that once defined Chiang Mai's historic quarter, built on a site that housed a 19th-century merchant's compound. While the structure is new, its design faithfully reproduces traditional fretwork, latticed balconies, and ornate gingerbread trim using reclaimed teak and period techniques. The 19-room hotel sits within Chiang Mai's old city walls, surrounded by ancient temples.
